Our Equine Home
Meadowlark Ranch Too is our dedicated equine facility — a purpose-built property designed to provide the highest standard of care, training, and housing for our heritage Percheron horses and boarded equine guests. Located in the heart of Boulder County, the facility combines traditional horsemanship with modern amenities.
Training Facility
At the heart of Meadowlark Ranch Too is our professional training arena, where the CCP Percherons are prepared for competition under the guidance of head trainer Wilbur Helmuth and assistant trainer Makenna Helmuth. The facility is equipped to handle the unique demands of draft horse training, from hitch work to individual driving.
Our training philosophy emphasizes patience, respect, and the time-honored methods that have been passed down through generations of Percheron horsemen.
Barn & Stabling
Our barn is designed with the well-being of the horse as the top priority. Spacious stalls, excellent ventilation, and natural light create a comfortable environment for our horses year-round. The facility accommodates both our resident Percheron herd and boarded horses.
- Spacious stalls with premium bedding
- Climate-controlled wash bay and grooming areas
- Secure tack rooms and equipment storage
- Feed room with custom nutrition programs
- 24/7 security monitoring
Pastures & Turnout
Our horses enjoy access to well-maintained pastures with safe, sturdy fencing, fresh water sources, and shelter from the elements. We practice rotational grazing to maintain pasture health, and our turnout schedule ensures every horse receives ample time to move, socialize, and simply be a horse.
The property features scenic pathways and observation areas where visitors can watch the horses at rest and in motion — a peaceful experience that reminds us why we do what we do.
