Meadowlark Ranch is dedicated to thoughtfully preserving rare and heritage horse breeds, championing their ongoing legacy through education, stewardship, and immersive guest experiences.
Our commitment to the Percheron and Shire breeds drives everything we do. These are just two of the many sought after drafts breeds found in the world. Their incredible strength and size meant they were bred to pull heavy loads, such as plows, wagons, and artillery. While some draft breeds are still used in this capacity, we utilize them for their magnificent stature and physic in the show ring as well as invoking their calm temperament for Equine Assisted Therapies and Coaching.
